Obviously this was completely unreasonable; after all, it wasn't as if the weatherman actually had control of the weather. Or, at least, that would be the case in any other situation. This, however, was California, and the weatherman in this particular little valley just happened to be Thor. He tried to ensure that the weather he predicted was always correct, so as to beat out the hunky weatherman on the other channel.
